With a rich history dating back to 1980, the Macon Transit Authority (MTA) is the city’s official public transportation, providing safe, affordable and reliable service throughout Macon. Accessibility is paramount to the city as well, and the MTA is pleased to offer an efficient and cost-effective paratransit service to those unable to access standard services. 

As an added bonus, the Historic Terminal Station on 5th Street has been a filming location for several movies, and is available for event hosting.
