A Night Built Around Connection

MAC: Mingle with Singles is not your typical singles event. Instead of awkward introductions or structured speed dating, the evening focuses on creating easy opportunities for conversation through drinks, Icebreaker Bingo, and shared experiences.

Guests can expect a casual atmosphere where meeting new people feels simple and comfortable, whether you come solo or bring a friend.

Who It’s For

This event is designed for:

  • Visitors exploring Macon and looking to connect
  • Locals wanting to meet new friends
  • Young professionals building community
  • Anyone seeking more connection and belonging in Macon

At its core, MAC: Mingle with Singles is about helping people feel more at home in the city, no matter how long they’ve been here.

What to Expect

Registration is $20 and includes drinks from the bar, plus access to optional Icebreaker Bingo designed to spark conversation throughout the evening.

Upon arrival, guests receive a colored wristband to help break the ice:

  • ❤️ Taken but open to friendships
  • 🩷 Single and attracted to women
  • 💙 Single and attracted to men
  • 💛 “Ask me about it!”

Participants can also complete Icebreaker Bingo cards for a chance to win giveaways and a promo code to the Bragg Jam concert crawl coming this summer on July 25!

A Program That Builds Community

MAC: Mingle with Singles is programmed quarterly and hosted by the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, with support from Choose Macon, the Chamber’s talent retention initiative.

Each event is hosted at a local Macon restaurant or venue, intentionally designed to support small businesses while creating opportunities for residents and visitors to connect in meaningful ways.

Over time, these gatherings have become a simple but impactful way to strengthen Macon’s sense of community, one conversation at a time.
